libby prosser is a

multimedia visual artist whose work explores visual record-keeping of earth in the anthropocene - third person records made through digital surveillance on cctv and satellites, juxtaposed against first person records made through personal retelling and inherited histories. the work exists in this rift between the neo-dreamworlds of the manipulated digital sphere and the truths of tangible reality - labors of love, commemoration, and alternative histories. these disparate recording modalities share a commonality in that both are clouded and underwritten by the specters of future & past, time’s little crumbs.

libby grew up in st. petersburg florida and received a ba in art history from vassar college. her work has appeared in various artist-run spaces and is held in private collections. beyond her art practice, libby curates locally-focused collections and commissions for commercial projects with indiewalls.
